SCDOT crews expect to begin repairs to the drainage system under Highway 321 near Airport Boulevard (S.C. 302) on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. The repairs are expected to be complete by mid-March. The lane closures will remain in place until the work is complete.
Dual lane closures will impact travel southbound on Highway 321 and drivers traveling southbound should anticipate delays during peak travel periods. Access to Williams Street will be closed at the intersection of Highway 321 and a detour route is in place along Platt Springs Road for local traffic (map below). These lane closures are not expected to impact northbound traffic.
Drivers are reminded to slow down in work zones and pay attention to directional signage.
