  • SCDOT continues recovery efforts throughout the state

Columbia, S.C. (September 30, 2024)— The South Carolina Department of Transportation is not slowing down on storm recovery and is continuing to focus on clearing roadways throughout the state.

SCDOT asks that if you encounter our crews or other first responders, slow down and give them room to work. Pay attention to signs and barricades and never move or drive around them.

You can report issues on a state-maintained roadway by calling 855-467-2368. Our Call Center is open and operating.

SCDOT is closely monitoring the conditions and potential for localized flooding following the storm. We will announce any major bridge or road closures on our website and social media platforms. At this time, there are no major closures anticipated.
