Columbia, S.C. (January 6, 2025)— The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close the SC 88 bridge over Three and Twenty Creek beginning January 13 for repairs. The bridge is expected to reopen by the end of the month.

As part of this closure, a detour route has been put in place. Please note that the road will be open to local traffic only during the repairs except at the bridge site.

SCDOT encourages drivers to slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving near the work zone.
